Electronics

Specialised Technologies develop electronics for customised solutions large and small, including:

  • Positioning Technologies
  • Control Interfaces
  • Wireless Communications
  • Sensors
  • Electronic Signs
  • Automation
  • IT Integration

Our rapid prototyping and predeveloped modules ensure your solution is developed quickly and easily while maintaining reliability and rock solid operation.

For solutions that require intensive research planning and implementation we offer dedicated resources along with partnered companies to achieve your goals.

All electronic solutions produced by Specialised utalise high performance embedded microcontrollers and quality components to achieve high levels of performance and reliability. Firmware is optimised for your application with advanced run time tools and debugging.

There are 8 stages to our electronics design model:

  1. Needs Analysis
Critical to any development activity, needs analysis is literally the face to face explanation of your requirements.
Specialised consult in our offices or at your location so that we can get the full picture and tailor every last detail you require.
  2. Research and Technology Selection
The method in which you meet your requirements has a huge impact on reliability, servicability and cost. Getting the ground work right prevents unnecessary expense and ongoing costs. Specialised ensure your solution is serviced by the technology it incorporates and will remain in operation for as long as possible.
  3. Planning and Documentation
Now that your requirements are laid out and your technology has been chosen, you will need to know the process in order to receive the best outcome. Documentation and outlines clearly display the objectives, plans, ongoing costs and maintenance and time frames involved.
  4. Prototyping
Depending on the complexity of your application this step can be the most demanding of time. Your concept or idea is transformed into a tangible working model in order to test and refine functionality.
  5. Testing
Heavily documented testing is carried out, ensuring your requirements are met. All learnings from testing regimes is provided to maximise your understanding of the product and your ability to maintain it.
  6. Verification
Your product is now in final prototype stage and is verified against requirements.
  7. Packaging
If required Specialised can design packaging which is asthetically pleasing or industrially rugged.
  8. Manufacture
Your product details are sent to manufacturers. Delivery times depend on complexity and location of the manufacture house.
